About the Role:
Janat Al Frdaws for Relief and Development, in collaboration with ASB, seeks an experienced and qualified Trainer to deliver a 5-day training program on “Facts for Life and Economic Self-Reliance.” The training is part of a larger project aimed at empowering youth beneficiaries in Salah Aldeen with essential life skills, financial literacy, and business knowledge to help them achieve economic self-reliance and improve their overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Development: Review and refine the proposed training topics, and develop a detailed curriculum tailored to the local context.
- Training Delivery: Conduct a 5-day training workshop for groups of 15-20 youth beneficiaries, using interactive and participatory methods such as group discussions, case studies, role-plays, and practical exercises.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Design and implement pre- and post-training assessments to evaluate participants’ learning and provide constructive feedback.
- Coordination and Communication: Work closely with the project team to ensure all logistical arrangements are in place and maintain regular communication with the Project Manager.
- Reporting: Prepare a comprehensive training report, including outcomes, participant feedback, and recommendations for future training initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be a resident of Salah Aldeen, Iraq.
- Education: At least a Master’s degree (MSc) in a relevant field such as Economics, Business Administration, Education, or a related discipline.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in delivering training on economic self-reliance, financial literacy, business development, and life skills.
- Skills: Strong understanding of cooperative systems, financial management, marketing, and customer service, with the ability to deliver engaging and interactive training programs.
- Communication: Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- Cultural Understanding: Familiarity with the local context and culture of Salah Aldeen is essential.
- Experience working with youth or vulnerable populations is an asset.
